Terrae
Terrae turns Mapbox GL or MapLibre GL map sources and layers into React components. The collection includes every registry component that has a working public delivery endpoint at the recorded revision: 40 listings, with Mapbox and MapLibre represented as two delivery targets of the same base Map item.
Choose the base engine first, then add the overlays needed by the product. Mapbox requires a public access token and its styles and tiles are governed by Mapbox's terms. MapLibre requires no Mapbox token; Terrae's default MapLibre styles use CARTO-hosted basemaps, whose terms are separate from Terrae's MIT source license. Either engine can use another compatible style and tile provider.
Most components render only inside Terrae's Map context. Every map needs a measurable height and a client-side browser runtime. Animated overlays need lifecycle and reduced-motion review; comparison and synchronization components create multiple map instances and may multiply tile requests and provider billing.
