Use the viewer for financial models, schedules, imports, exports, and other workbooks that need more than a static table. It provides sheet tabs, a virtualized grid, frozen rows and columns, column resizing, selection, search, and formula or formatted-value display.
The viewer can expose workbook properties, hidden sheets, and named ranges when that metadata is available. Render it on the client in server-rendered applications and give the grid a bounded height so virtualization can measure its viewport.
